There probably aren’t a lot of people out there who would complain that taking pictures on their smartphone is inconvenient. Often, accessing the camera is a quick click or swipe away, and taking a picture another.

If you remember the last time a new camera app landed in the wild, you had to have a rooted Android phone to make use of it. This time, you don't need root to install the updated app. The new version features Photosphere, a helper tool for panoramic photos that appeared in 4.2, but it works on more devices. Also, the app lets you use your phone's volume rocker to take photos. The new settings menu lets you switch flash modes, choose front or rear cameras, adjust the white balance, and tweak exposure times.

You don't have to have your Android rooted to have the new Android Camera app. Also it features Photosphere, that works primarily with panoramic exposure. Although a lot of sources have said that the Android Jelly Bean 4.2 is the main product but it works fine on 4.1.

The new Jelly Bean update, so you've been waiting and Christmas seems to send a bit of an early gift towards all of you. One which we all wish for, is that this will make your device faster. And the key one for all of you photographers, look up a bit more, about the "move-to-SD-card" feature. That's like finding an extra present under the tree.
