Private photo sharing has moved to the front of the line. And it's beacuse as mega companies like Instagram an Twitter grow, sending direct messagees almost has a nostaglic appeal to them. Since everyone knows what every else is eating or doing all the time. It seems that private messaging would almost bring back that casual talk of "What did you do today?"
