Fujifilm today announced X-S1 premium EXR 26X superzoom digital camera. The X-S1 represents a new breed of bridge cameras. Built in Japan to exacting standards, the body has a high-quality look and feel with metal dials, a rubberised coating and superior handling characteristics that will appeal to the discerning photo enthusiast.

Super zoom cameras means the zoom is well beyond the 15x optical zoom, and the cameras are physically bulky and shaped more like a DSLR, they also have manual controls and a viewfinder. All the cameras listed here have manual exposure controls as well. If you want to take amazing photographs of wildlife, you need a great Superzoom camera. Before you go out and buy a camera that you aren’t sure of, check these high quality affordable superzoom models.

A list of features as long as your arm and an equally lengthy optical zoom all work in the Fujifilm FinePix F550EXR's favour. But this superzoom has a number of flaws that prevent it from achieving greatness.
