July 17 – Barcelona and Manchester United are among a group of clubs punished by UEFA in the latest round of Financial Fair Play sanctions.
Barca have been fined €500,000 for wrongly reporting profits from “disposal of intangible assets” that should not have been accounted for as income according to FFP rules.
United must pay €300,000 for “minor breakeven deficits” for the financial years spanning between 2019 and 2022.

Manchester United’s latest filing to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reveals that £120million has been cleared from their revolving credit facility following Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s $300m (£234.2m) cash injection.
When United released their financial results for the second quarter of the financial year on Tuesday, it showed their debt totaling £773.3m, which excludes money owed in transfer fees.
But late on Wednesday night, a more detailed filing to the SEC showed that on February 28, United paid off £120m worth of debt — reducing their overall debt down to £653.3m.

September 14 – Snapdragon will replace TeamViewer as the brand name on the front of Manchester United’s shirt from the start of next season in a reported £60 million a year deal.
Understood to be a five-year agreement, the Qualcomm business will allow German technology firm TeamViewer to exit their own five-year $235 million deal early, having signed with Man Utd in 2021. TeamViewer will remain as a global sponsor.

August 1 – Manchester United have announced a 10-year extension to its partnership with Adidas worth almost £1 billion.
United’s deal with the German sportswear brand as its official supplier runs to 2035 and “has a minimum cash guarantee of £900 million pounds subject to certain adjustments,” the club said, making it the most lucrative sponsorship in Premier League history.
