Nikon currently offers three 35mm prime lenses: the ageing AF 35mm f2.0D, the low-cost DX 35mm f1.8G, and the latest high-end AF-S 35mm f1.4G. There's considerable differences in their size, weight and cost, not to mention different focal ratios, but the big question is how does their image quality compare?
