Dutch photographer Poike Stomps has put together a fascinating photo project called ‘Crossing Europe’ which shows pedestrians at crosswalks in 42 European capital cities. His photos give a glimpse of each city’s atmosphere and capture the general vibe of European life.

Photo projects vary depending on what the photographers wants to focus on. In this project Poike Stomps went around Europe, showing the lives at crosswalks in each city. Odd but en-lighting on the fact that we are given a glimpse of a foreign place with culture the exceeds our own limitations of what we think is out there and whom may be crossing the street.
